Dr. Caitlyn Ruskell is a native of Canton, GA where she grew up caring for cats, dogs, chickens, goats and more.
Her love for animals was innate, but helping repair injured animals and nursing sick ones back to health made her realize a career in veterinary medicine was the only one for her. Dr. Ruskell is a proud Double Dawg, earning both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of Georgia. Before vet school, Dr. Ruskell spent a few years underwater as a scuba instructor in the Florida Keys, at the Georgia Aquarium and at UNC Chapel Hill.
Dr. Ruskell’s professional interests include surgery, dentistry and oncology. Her goal is to help all her patients live their happiest and healthiest lives.
Outside the clinic, Caitlyn enjoys jamming with her family band, exploring the ocean, and taking her rescue dog on adventure walks around Atlanta. When the weather isn’t fair, you might find her binge-reading with her cat.
